Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow: A Tribute to the Tour de France
Tudor enters the world of professional cycling with a new limited edition chronograph inspired by the Tour de France: the Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow. This watch is in keeping with the brand’s long-standing partnership with the Tudor professional cycling team and pays tribute to one of cycling’s iconic symbols: the yellow jersey (Maillot Jaune) worn by the overall leader of the Tour de France.
Carbon composite case built for performance
The Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow watch features a 43 mm case made of matte carbon fiber composite, known for its lightness and wear resistance. At just 13.20 mm thick, the case is slim and features a fixed strap bar (FXD), further enhancing its structural integrity and reliability - a hallmark feature of the FXD collection.

This chronograph features two pushers for immediate access to the timing functions, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial. The solid caseback is engraved with the specific edition marking and the watch number.
Dial details: high contrast and functionality
Following the pink edition launched in May to commemorate the Giro d'Italia, a similar version is now available, replacing the pink accents with yellow, inspired by the Tour de France. The new Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow watch is identical to last month's edition, except for the updated color details.
The dial features a two-eye layout with yellow highlights to highlight its unique style. The chronograph counters and the cycling-specific tachymeter scale are decorated with yellow, while the rest of the dial retains the previous low-key matte black finish. There is a discreet date window at 6 o'clock, which blends in with the overall design.
Key indicators such as the snowflake hands and the integrated ceramic composite hour markers are coated with luminescent coating to improve legibility in low-light conditions. The unique feature of this chronograph is its cycling tachymeter scale, which is calibrated far below the standard starting speed of 60 km/h on traditional tachymeters and reflects the average race speed.
Designed for precision
The Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow is equipped with Calibre MT5813, a self-winding chronograph movement certified by the Swiss Official Observatory (COSC). Developed in collaboration with Breitling, this movement is based on the B01 architecture and is specially customized by Tudor with a silicon balance spring and other proprietary improvements. It has a power reserve of 70 hours and beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour).
Strap and version details
The watch is presented on an integrated black fabric strap with a striking yellow stripe in the center, a nod to the Tour de France leader's jersey. The strap is secured with matching hardware to ensure a snug fit and durability even under intensive use.
