Jacob & Co. Unveils Everest Rock Clock

Swedish explorer Johan Ernst Nilson recently teamed up with Swiss watchmaker mens jacob and co watches. to launch a new product as he needed to use the accessory during his adventures.

The result of a collaboration between adventurers and designer watchmakers is a new version of the famous astronomical Mount Everest. Inspired by the astronomical sky, the Astronomical Tourbillon Everest features Jacob & Co.'s dual-axis gravitational tourbillon on one of its four satellites. To reiterate its connection to Earth and its highest peaks, the face is constructed of tiny transparent water compartments from the North and South Pole collected by Nielsen.

The highlight is the center of the piece, where there is a real Everest rock - another contribution from the explorer. The latest addition to the Jacob & Co. Astronomia collection not only features a world time complication, but also a carillon minute repeater.

Jacob & Co. describes the Maestro Worldtime watch as one of the most complicated Astronomia versions it has ever created.

The main clock face has been moved from one of the planetarium's four arms to the central axis of its main carousel - which rotates every 10 minutes - and these arms are now occupied by the globe's world rotation, a 60-second three-axis tourbillon , hand-engraved in German silver with a hand-painted astronaut figure and a 1 ct Jacob-cut spherical diamond.best replica watches websites
