The result of a collaboration between adventurers and designer watchmakers is a new version of the famous astronomical Mount Everest. Inspired by the astronomical sky, the Astronomical Tourbillon Everest features Jacob & Co. on one of the four satellites. To reiterate its connection to Earth and its highest peaks, the face is constructed of tiny transparent water compartments from the North and South Pole collected by Nielsen.

The highlight is the center of the piece, where there is a real Everest rock - another contribution from the explorer. This is the first Astronomia to feature Super-LumiNova on the hands, base dial, rotating globe, logo and bracelet. These features are readable even in low light.
