Looking back on 200 years of history
A day of exploration at Bovet's headquarters in the Chateau de Môtiers, retracing two centuries of history

The Beginning of the Bovet Story
These extraordinary timepieces tell the story of Bovet from the very beginning, when Edward Bove wholesale replica watchest, son of the watchmaker, traveled to China in 1818 with four pocket watches to sell. He immediately found clients for his timepieces and returned to Switzerland as a rich man, seeing a huge opportunity in the Asian market. In 1822, together with his brother, he founded the Bovet Company, which focused on the manufacture of highly decorative timepieces with advanced chronograph functions.
Made for Asian consumers, these pocket watches are decorated with various arts and crafts such as cloisonne, enamel, enamel, as well as miniature paintings, engravings and pearl inlays. The movement is equally refined, with various decorative finishes.
In addition to the timekeeper of this temporary museum, the exhibition documents Edouard Bovet's travels and the letters he sent home to his brothers. A selection of timepieces is also featured in Raffy's contemporary collection, showing how the brand has evolved to create exceptional timepieces that appeal to today's discerning collectors.Richard Mille RM011 Le Mans Classic Green
