Chopard ALPINE EAGLE 36 298601-3001 Replica Watch
Chopard ALPINE EAGLE 41MM Pine Green Dial
The new replica Chopard watches Alpine Eagle 41mm pine green dial builds on the success of the Raptor-themed timepiece released in 2019. Aside from its verdant charm, this watch has a charming face, ultra-detailed torso, and brilliant mind. Mark McArthur-Christie shares his thoughts on this elegant sports watch.
Back in 1980, when Swiss watchmaking was in complete exclusion mode under the onslaught of cheap Japanese quartz watches, Chopard's Karl-Friederich Scheufele, just 22 years old, developed St. Moritz. Like the Intruder, it offers a quartz movement, but also with appropriate mechanical options. But where it really stands out is its design. Unlike many of Chopard's products at the time, the St. Moritz had a clean, unadorned stainless steel case. That's unusual enough, but the bezel, with its six screws in what looks like reinforcement points, is radical. Eventually, Karl-Frederich convinced his father (who ran the company) that the new watch was a good idea. It went into production and the watch took off, becoming a staple of the brand for several years. Variations range from the original pure stainless steel case model, with its clear and simple dial, to some serious gold creations adorned with gemstones. The newest alpine eagles are direct descendants of St. Moritz.
Chopard ALPINE EAGLE 41mm Pine Green Dial – KARL-FRITZ SCHEUFELE
Fittingly, Carl Friedrich's son Carl Fritz convinced his father that the new Alpine Eagle would be a good choice after seeing a St Moritz in his office.Wholesale replica watches
The blood is obvious. Karl-Frederich Scheufele describes the model as "a re-edit of St. Moritz". Eight screws, divided into four groups of two, at the cardinal point, remain. However, the bezel now has a flat edge instead of being curved between the screws. Of course, it's a cleaner look. Screws aren't just for decoration, though. They lock into matching caseback screw receivers and hold the bezel and caseback snugly to the case, improving the watch's water resistance. There's a further note; see how the crown guard is balanced by an almost identical guard on the opposite side. Roman numerals are also a link.
A word about those bezel screws...if you have a keen eye, you'll notice that their grooves are neither uniform nor random (like on St Moritz) - they actually run along the bezel the curve of the board. It's an ingenious detail project.
Chopard ALPINE EAGLE 41mm Pine Green Dial – Lucent Steel A223
The case material is slightly different from what most stainless steel watches use. Chopard describes it as "Lucent Steel A223 alloy". It is as hypoallergenic as surgical steel and harder than traditional 316L stainless steel, with a Vickers score of 223 compared to 150-170 for 316L. Chopard claims a 50% increase in scratch resistance as a result. This is something to look at; the sheen of the finish makes it look similar to platinum. Eco-friendly big label - it's made from 70% recycled steel, very much in line with Chopard's green commitment. Its hardness is great for anyone looking to wear an Eagle every day, but a proper headache for case makers; it eats tools.Replica Richard Mille Rafael Nadal Watches
CHOPARD ALPINE EAGLE 41mm Pine Green Dial – 18ct Rose Gold
There is also an 18 karat rose gold option. You won't be surprised to learn that the gold in the Alpine Eagle and other Chopard gold watches is smelted in-house and 100% ethical.
In terms of size, both case models are 41mm in diameter and just under 10mm in height, making them comfortable on the wrist. The sturdy case and sub-dial help it fit a little smaller than its size.
At 10mm thick and with vertical sides, such a simple case design can easily look chunky, but the vertical satin brushing and polished chamfers directly reduce the visual weight. They're also cleverly done; look at the way the lug edges are polished and tapered as they move towards the case. And you'll be fine - at least your watch will go down to 100m, thanks to the through case screw system and screw-down crown.https://www.chronowrist.ru
Speaking of brushing your teeth, look at that dial. At first glance, this appears to be a relatively standard green brushed sunburst, but keep looking. For one, it's actually stamped - the base brass disc is stamped before PVD coating - and is closer to the iris with a deeper texture than a regular sunburst. Chopard dubs the color "Pine Green," aptly, and it's meant to evoke the summer forest floor.
So far so good, but Roman numerals on sports watches? ! This will upset some purists. But why not? After all, there are plenty of Cali dial sports watches out there, and the choice of numbers seems to fit the model's highly engineered aesthetic. They are rhodium-plated (or gold-plated if you opt for the precious metal version), as are the flat baton hands. Everything is easy to see in low light thanks to the X1-grade Super-LumiNova material for the hands and indexes. The second hand has feathers on the bottom, enough for a watch named after a bird. Finally, the date window is located between four and five, and the date disc uses the same pine green as the dial. White cannot be paired with such a rich dial color.replica Jacob & Co. CHOPARD ALPINE EAGLE 41MM PINE GREEN DIAL – CHOPARD 01.01-C automatic movement
Powering the watch is the Chopard 01.01-C self-winding movement. Boss has detailed how the movement is built, assembled, regulated and tested, enough to say that the 01.01 is a hacker-style automatic movement with 207 components, 31 jewels, running at 28,800 vph and Will continue to do so for an impressive 60 hours. As you might expect, it is observatory certified. It's also a bit nifty, so it's best to have an anti-glare sapphire display to appreciate it, complete with the Alpine Eagle Foundation logo. If you're interested in tracking the movement family tree, you can also find this in Chopard's Mille Miglia and the Imperiale.
Keeping the plot on the wrist is an integrated bracelet. Like the case, each ingot link is cut from A223 steel, which must be a fun project for someone. Not only is it cut, it's polished, and it's all done in-house. It's easy to size and adjust, and each link is secured with a central stainless steel screw. Holding the watch horizontally with your head, you can see that the bracelet has absolutely no lateral flex and very tight tolerances. It tapers to 20mm with a hidden butterfly deployment clasp. The raised polished center link is another nod to the original St. Moritz bracelet.
It's great to see a new luxury replica watches with real historical depth but not just a reissue. There is symmetry in the way the two generations of the Scheufele family bring their own ideas and styles into each incarnation of the watch. Alpine Eagle is definitely a chip in the old neighborhood, but still has a clear identity of its own.
