The GMT Black features the same asymmetrically shaped case (43.5mm x 16.14mm) as the original, but now with ultra-light titanium and a vacuum-deposited black ADLC coating. While Greubel Forsey doesn't have an exact weight, in my hands the gold version weighs about twice as much as the titanium.

Like the original, the GMT Black is powered by the hand-wound caliber GF5. It has two barrels connected in series, providing a power reserve of 72 hours, and operates at a frequency of 3 Hz. While the movement is technically the same, the mainplate and bridges happen to have a new black finish.
