While replica watches on sale launches often come with fanfare and bells and whistles to drum up excitement and interest (we're looking at you MoonSwatch), sometimes watch brands like to quietly introduce their watches to the world. Over the weekend, six new Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Premium Edition watches were announced on their website without even announcing their arrival with an Instagram post. But that in itself was a source of excitement, with whispers of "Have you seen the new Omega?" spreading through forums and social media.
So let's get started. The six new watches are divided into three groups: the time and date sub-collection and the chronograph sub-collection. Starting with the time and date model, they all have the same dimensions and construction, with a diameter of 43.5 mm, made of stainless steel with a ceramic bezel. The chronograph model uses the same materials but is 45.5 mm larger in size and has additional pushers on the side of the crown.
As you would expect from the range, all six replica swiss watches feature a 600m water resistance rating, making them suitable for professional divers. A key part of deepwater drags—or rather, what allows them to operate safely at such depths—is the inclusion of a helium escape valve. As the name suggests, they allow excess helium that builds up inside the watch due to pressure changes to escape, thus preventing damage to the internal mechanism - you can see the valve located at 10 o'clock on the case. People often debate how necessary they are for regular divers like the Seamaster Diver 300m, but at the depths at which the Planet Ocean can operate, I personally would rather be safe than sorry.

Aesthetically, both sets of time and date and chronograph models feature three designs. Each is distinct from the others while maintaining the same core concept. The first version features a matte anthracite dial with a matching gray ceramic bezel. The second is in vertical brushed steel with a green bezel, and finally there’s a beige version with a bronze bezel (Omega’s new ceramic color). For the chronograph model, the subdials match the bezel.
The gray model feels particularly safe in my opinion, although that doesn't mean it won't be popular. It follows the dark gray GMT high quality replica watches, which better embodies the gray concept with its ceramic case. However, if your budget doesn’t exceed tens of thousands, the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Boutique Gray is a great option.
My personal favorite is the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Boutique Edition beige time and date watch, the combination of sand dial and bronze bezel is the most unique of any existing Planet Ocean watch. I wouldn't mind adding a chronograph, but I think the pure purpose of a clean dial on a dive watch is more appealing.
