Best Bovet BOVET by Pininfarina OttantaSei TPINS020 Replica watch
The replica Bovet watches Récital 28 “Prowess 1” is a breakthrough in global timekeeping
Throughout the history of watchmaking, breakthroughs have been made to solve specific problems. For example, the tourbillon was invented to counteract the effect of gravity on accuracy when a pocket watch remains in one position (on a table, in a pocket, etc.).
Once world travel became more popular, dual time zone and world time watches were developed so travelers could know the time in different parts of the world.
Now, with the Récital 28 “Prowess 1”, Bovet solves unique modern timing problems in an innovative and elegant way.
Problem: Since the introduction of Daylight Saving Time (DST), world time watches have been unable to adapt to the vagaries of different countries' DST start and end times, and which countries have not changed (only about 70 countries use some form of DST). summer time).
Solution: Bovet’s Récital 28 Prowess 1 copy luxury watches can be adjusted to any of the following 24 time zones thanks to its clever scroll wheel system:
UTC – Coordinated Universal Time
AST – American Daylight Time
EAS – European and American Summer Time
EWT – European Winter Time
In addition to this extraordinary way of managing differences in time zones around the world, this timepiece also features an extended flying tourbillon, a perpetual calendar displayed using rollers and discs, and a 10-day power reserve from a single barrel.
No other timepiece in the world does all this mechanically, every component is finished by hand, and the movement’s bridges are hand-decorated and hand-engraved.
a little history
Since ancient times, humans have been trying to master timekeeping, starting with sundials, water clocks, incense clocks, and more.
Fast forward to the 1800s, when BOVET was first founded. Then the world was thrown into chaos when it came to timing. Cities, towns and villages all run according to "local solar time", independent of any other city. No matter where you are, noon on the clock is the moment when the sun is at its highest point - but that moment changes depending on your longitude. So, when it's noon in New York City, it's 12:12 PM in Boston, MA; 11:30 AM in Cleveland, OH; and 11:14 AM in Indianapolis, IN. In a metropolis like New York, the local time on the east and west sides of the city can differ by a minute or more. There's even a difference of about 30 seconds in daylight hours on either side of the San Francisco-Oakland Bridge. replica Chopard Alpine Eagle XL
As you can imagine, with the advent of railroads, travel speed increased and matching train times was a logistical nightmare.
Thanks to the railways, standard time was introduced and used throughout the railway system, and in 1884, a 24-time zone system based on the Prime Meridian in Greenwich, England, was adopted and used around the world.
The United States government officially adopted standard time on March 19, 1918, although it had been used across the country for many years. Within a decade, most of the world's people were keeping time by this system. In 1972, most of the world adopted Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), and official time zones are now represented by +/- UTC instead of GMT.
Enter Daylight Saving Time (DST)
Daylight saving time was first introduced during World War I and then reinstated again during World War II to save energy and get more sunlight. Countries around the world either adopt or ignore daylight saving time - for example, countries near the equator do not observe daylight saving time because sunrise and sunset times are not that different.
Today, things are no better. Countries such as China, the United Arab Emirates and India do not observe daylight saving time. Even in the United States, Hawaii and Arizona do not observe daylight saving time, but the Navajo Nation reservation in Arizona does. Additionally, daylight saving time and time changes occur on different dates, making it difficult to determine the time anywhere in the world during the weeks of the year. replica luxury watches
There has been a lot of talk recently about scrapping time changes entirely, either adopting standard time or adopting daylight saving time year-round, although this will again depend on individual countries' decisions.
Genesis
Since acquiring Bovet in 2001, owner Mr. Raffy has always had his own ideas about the sky and how best to interpret various ways of telling time. In the past, he has drawn celestial diagrams, equations of time, sidereal time, summer and winter equinoxes, and more.
Groundbreaking timepieces include:
Récital 18 Rising Star
Récital 20 Astérium (Winner of the 2023 GPHG Astronomy and Calendar Prize)
Récital 22 Grand Récital (recipient of GPHG’s highest honor in 2018)
Récital 26 Chapter 2 (Winner of the 2020 GPHG Mechanical Exception Award)
Now, with the Récital 28 Prowess 1, Mr. Raffy and his team have a deeper understanding of ground time than ever before.
“When the Récital 26 Brainstorm Chapter Two was developed, I said to myself, one of the most important things I want to wear on my wrist is a great world time watch that can adjust to the vagaries of world time,” Mr. Rafi explained. "Every year between summer and winter, there are a few weeks where the time does not match, and some countries only use time once a year. In the Récital 28 Prowess 1, the 24 time zones are on the wheel at 6pm and the sun (tourbillon) is at 12 point. Press the crown and you can adjust to four different times. This is definitely a Prowess 1, and I would like to thank my team for five years of hard work to create this extraordinary timepiece.”
“In June 2022, everything was ready to go into production, but I stopped the project because I didn’t have the idea to rotate the cylinder yet,” he continued. “The idea was to have a world time system like the one on the Orbis Mundi, but at BOVET we always need to push watchmaking forward. We all thought the job was done, but I pay tribute to my wonderful engineers and watchmakers The division team posed a challenge and they rose to it – and the result is a true mechanical masterpiece.” luxury tourbillon watches
The entire development process of the Récital 28 Prowess 1 took more than five years, with work beginning while BOVET was working on the complex and time-consuming Rolls-Royce Stern project.
Timepiece details
World Time System: 24 rollers with four positions each, all controlled by the crown - UTC, AST (American Summer Time), EAS (European and American Summer Time) and EWT (European Winter Time). Pushing the crown rotates each individual cylinder 90 degrees, so each time zone can be set individually. The date wheel is based on a design by Leonardo da Vinci. This option was chosen because the technical department wanted a solution with less tight gearing. With this system, once the roller is in place in its hole, it is held in place by a spring and the roller disengages from the gearing.
Tourbillon: The movement powering the Récital 28 Prowess 1 is entirely new, using Bovet’s patented double-sided flying tourbillon as its basis. The tourbillon has been expanded – the escapement is located entirely on one side of the central fixed point, and on the other side is the cage carrying the balance wheel and Bovet’s in-house hairspring, making it even more transparent and fascinating than before. The redesigned cage is also the lightest cage Bovet has ever used (62 components, 39 of which are new), with a total weight of 0.35 grams). The Récital 28 Prowess 1 features a new dimension of Bovet’s trademark writing desk case (46.30 mm), providing enough space for the tourbillon at 12 o’clock in the widest part of the case. replica Patek Philippe Watches
Perpetual Calendar: The date, leap year indicator and month are all on rollers, so when they reach the last day and last month respectively, the date rolls back like a slot machine, with a special damping system gently stopping it while the other two scroll forward. Another reason to stay up until midnight at the end of the month (especially the end of the year) and watch all the rollers move. On the back of the watch, Bovet shows for the first time the inner workings of the perpetual calendar mechanism, which is a visual delight.
Decoration and finishing: 744 components are finished by hand, the bridges are decorated with perlage and Côtes de Genève and the bridges are hand-engraved. Of particular concern is the chamfering of the main structure of the movement – the method used is called angle leasing. A corner is leased when two chamfers meet on the inside. Intersections must be clean and form a line at the point of intersection. This type of corner is the most difficult to make, and the sharper the tip, the more difficult it is to make. It requires expert hands - there are currently no machines capable of producing it.
The watch has a very limited production run and Bovet can only hand-make a total of eight watches per year, as each movement takes several weeks to assemble. The Récital 28 Prowess 1 is crafted from 18K red gold, 950 platinum and polished grade 5 titanium.
“With Récital 20 Astérium, Récital 22 Grand Récital and Récital 26 Chapter Two, we are focused on bringing heaven and earth together,” Mr. Raffy details. "With the Récital 28 Prowess 1, we have solved the problem of ground time with a world timer that can adjust to all the changes in timing around the world. With this watch you will never be lost anywhere in the world time." Ulysse Nardin replica Watches
